Insieme a questo e alle cittadine di mwcqTirgonide e mwcgTitacide fu trasferita dalla tribù mwcwAiantide alla mwdaTolemaide, nonostante il mwdqlessicografo mwdgEsichio di Alessandria, erroneamente, la attribuisca alla tribù mwdwAntiochide.cite-ref-1[1]

In età romana Perride divenne un demo indipendente, e perciò è da considerarsi come un demo spurio.cite-ref-2[2]
